Stress affects everyone everyday. How you handle stress can greatly impact the quality of your life and the health of your body. It is important, therefore, to handle day to day stress in a conducive manner to help you achieve optimum health. Here are some tips to help you combat day to day stress.

Day To Day Stress Tips

  • Leave Your Work At Work – It’s important to not bring work home. Home is your sanctuary and that means no work at home.
  • Get A Quality Night’s Sleep – Sleep restores your body so getting quality sleep is important to your well being and health of your body. It’s best to set a sleep schedule and follow it. This means not sleeping in on the weekends or staying up late.
  • Take Frequent “Me” Breaks At Work – Whenever possible take a few minutes for yourself during work. This could mean doing a few deep breathing exercises, drinking some tea or doing a few yoga poses. The more “me” breaks you take, the better you will be able to deal with stress.
  • Learn To Delegate Tasks – One of the big mistakes we make is to take on more than we can which will leave us anxious, overwhelmed and stressed out. Instead, it’s best to delegate tasks to co-works, family members or who ever to help you accomplish the day’s tasks.
