Many people are becoming aware that what you eat has an impact on your body and health. It’s important to develop healthy eating patterns at an early age so that it can grow with you as you age. Although sweets and fried foods are good to eat, it’s best that they be eaten in moderation at best. Here are some healthy eating tips to get your started.

- Drink More Water – Water is highly essential to help you get rid of toxins in your body and to re-hydrate you. You don’t have to consume water per say, but make sure foods you eat and other liquids contain water and not much sugar. Watermelon, apples and oranges have much water in them as does drinking ice tea and lemonade.
- Consume More Green Vegetables – Having a diet full of plentiful green vegetables like spinach, celery, kale, broccoli or zucchinis are highly important to maintain a healthy diet.
- Make Tomatoes Your Best Friend – Tomatoes, when cooked, contain lycopene for good cardiovascular health.
