Symptoms and Cures For A Urinary Tract Infection

Many women are familiar of urinary tract infections or UTI’s. It burns when you pee and your abdomen can be a bit sensitive. It is stated that approximately one in five women will experience a UTI in her lifetime. Here is a list of symptoms and common cures for a urinary tract infection.

  1. Pain or burning feeling when urinating – This is by far the most prominent symptom.
  2. A feeling of emptying your bladder frequently – Even if you hadn’t drunken anything, you will still feel the urge to go to the bathroom.
  3. Pain or pressure in the abdomen area – For men the feeling is in the rectum and for women it’s in area of the pubic bone.

Urinary Tract Infection – Cures

  1. Cranberry And Water – Continually drink cranberry and water to remove any bacteria in the urine that is causing the UTI. Even if it will hurt when going to the bathroom, it is the best remedy for curing a UTI.
  2. Vitamin C – This is more a preventative approach to UTI’s. If you feel a UTI coming on, consume Vitamin C. It will speed up the recovery process.
  3. Medications – If none of the above work, seek your doctor for some medication that will wipe away the bacteria in no time.
